The facilities we provide for schools are of paramount importance to the Directors of Artists Ltd because it was the support and encouragement received at school that introduced many of our artists to what became their careers.
So the Directors and many of our Artists are prepared to offer as much help and assistance as you would like in getting art in your school visible on our website and in facilitating art in all it's diversity in your school.
If you have problems with the technology of our site or you would like some assistance such as a visiting artist to come along and see you then please just ask.

 | | Schools and Colleges
There are a number of features on the site specifically for the use of schools and colleges. Art in the community is of huge significance to a great many people and many of the artists within Artists Ltd. seek to promote a partnership with local schools. At this point in our site development there are two specific features that educational establishments may find particularly useful and we hope you will try out both of them. |

More features will be added soon providing assistance such as lesson plans together with suggestions on materials and subject matter.
Firstly, to further promote artist visits to local schools we have invited all our artists to set an indicator in their pages signifying that they are willing to attend local schools to conduct workshops or demonstrations.
To access such artists the 'search Artists' function has a 'tick box' and if this is checked then the list produced will only consist of such artists.
So, if you want to find a local artist in Lincolnshire who specialises in metal sculpture and who would be prepared to pay a visit to your school - then the 'search Artists' function will do it for you.
The second feature involves a bit more work!.
We are compiling a directory of Art in Schools. The facilities provided are very simlar to those provided by the Artist Directory in that they can be set up and maintained dynamically. An art teacher can set up and update a webpage for their specific school or class on the site and additionally load a gallery of pictures illustrating art within the school. The 'search School' feature will enable the pages to be viewed.
Most schools and colleges now have their own websites so there is a facility to link into the school website provided. By listing your school on the Artists Ltd. website you will not only increase visibility of art in your school but also have an easy and self-maintained specialist web presence as in this example:

You can register online as a school directly through the site, as soon as we receive your request we will send back confirmation that your site has been set up and is ready for you to start using. This additional step in the school registration procedure is designed as a "check" to prevent unauthorised registrations from bogus email addresses.
Use of the feature is, of course, entirely free of charge and so it should sit comfortably with the school budget.
